EXA congratulates MAS on its award of two contracts for Canada's CC-330 Husky fleet
30 March 2026
EXA congratulates MAS, an L3Harris company, on its successful award of two contracts for Canada's CC-330 Husky fleet under the Strategic Tanker Transport Capability (STTC) program.
Announced today by the Government of Canada, these long-term contracts represent a critical component of the Royal Canadian Air Force's future operational capability, ensuring sustained airworthiness, availability, and mission readiness of this strategic fleet.
The EXA Consulting Group is proud to have supported MAS on these bids. This was a complex, high-stakes procurement requiring the integration of engineering, supply chain, airworthiness, and operational support constructs into a fully compliant and compelling response—set against formidable global competition.
As Alex McPhail, President of EXA, noted:
"Programs of this scale and complexity demand more than technical excellence. They require disciplined strategy, rigorous solution alignment to evaluation criteria, and the ability to integrate multiple threads into a single, compelling narrative. Competing in this space means going head-to-head with some of the most sophisticated defence primes globally. I am extremely proud of the MAS team, and the role EXA played in helping position successful bids in such a demanding competitive environment."
Congratulations to the entire MAS team on this achievement, and to all partners supporting Canada's evolving defence capability.
